Bos awarded with Kent State University Distinguished Scholar Award
Dr. Philip Bos, Professor in Chemical Physics Interdisciplinary Program
was presented with a Kent State University Distinguished Scholar
Award at the university’s April 6 awards ceremony in the Kent
Student Center. Six faculty members were selected as finalists for
this year’s Distinguished Scholar Awards.
Bos’ research
focuses on electro-optical effects for active matrix liquid crystal
displays and electro-optical effects for
electronic paper and optical devices.
In his acceptance speech and slide show, Bos acknowledged his
peers who he has worked with at the Liquid Crystal Institute since
1994.
