Directions to the Liquid Crystal Institute

From the Sheraton Suites, Cuyahoga Falls (Akron):

From the Sheraton Suites get on Route 8 South (the freeway adjacent to the hotel). Follow Rt. 8 south to I-76 East. Travel on I-76 East (towards Youngstown) to the Kent/Route 43 exit. From the exit ramp, make a left onto Rt. 43 North. Follow 43 North to Rt. 261 (at the intersection you will see a Bob Evans and medical building on your right and Mike's Place Restaurant on your left. Turn right onto Rt. 261 and follow it to the second traffic light which is Summit St. Turn left onto Summit St. heading west. At the second traffic light you will see the LCI on your right across from the Kent Presbyterian Church and the Recreation Center. (Refer to campus map for details - LCI in Section D).

 

From Ramada Inn, Alden Inn, Super 8 Motel, Days Inn, Holiday Inn Express Inn and Suites and Hampton Inn at I-76 & Rt. 43, Kent:

Follow 43 North to Rt. 261 (at the intersection you will see a Bob Evans and medical building on your right and Mike's Place Restaurant on your left. Turn right onto Rt. 261 and follow it to the second traffic light which is Summit St. Turn left onto Summit St. heading west. At the second traffic light you will see the LCI on your right across from the Kent Presbyterian Church and the Recreation Center. (Refer to campus map for details - LCI in Section D).

 

From Super 8 Motel, Comfort Inn, Microtel Inn & Suites - Streetsboro (near Ohio turnpike exit 13):

Follow Rt. 14 east to large intersection which is Rt. 14 and Rt. 43. Turn right onto Rt. 43 south. Follow 43 south to Kent (about 6 miles). Continue following Rt. 43 signs until you come to a traffic light where you must turn left or right onto Haymaker Parkway (Rt. 59 bypass). Turn left, following Rt. 43, then at the next intersection (distance about 2 blocks) turn right onto Water St. Immediately get into the left lane and turn left at the first traffic light onto Summit St. (you will see a CVS Pharmacy on your right). Follow Summit St. through 5 traffic lights (at the last traffic light you will see the 12 story library on your left). Continue on Summit Street and turn left into the parking lot across from the Kent Presbyterian Church. The LCI is the building on the right, adjacent to Henderson Hall College of Nursing . From the University Inn in Kent

Make a left from the University Inn onto Water St. (northbound). Immediately get into the right lane and turn right at the traffic light onto Summit St. Follow Summit St. through 5 traffic light (at the last traffic light you will see the 12 story library on your left). Continue on Summit Street and turn left into the parking lot across from the Kent Presbyterian Church. The LCI is the building on the right, adjacent to Henderson Hall College of Nursing .
