Liquid Crystal Institute thanks Brenda Decker for 20 years of service to Kent State

On February 29, members of the Kent State Liquid Crystal Institute attended a party for LCI Business Manager, Brenda Decker, to celebrate her 20 years at KSU.

Brenda began working for Kent State in the Chemistry Department from 1988-1991. In 1991, KSU received the ALCOM Center Grant and she joined LCI as a secretary to the Associate Directors, Peter Palffy-Muhoray and John West. In 1996, she was promoted to Information Specialist (which is now known as the Public Relations Coordinator position) and worked in this role until 2002 when she became the LCI Business Manager.
